The Steber Family Farms Relay For Life team will have a fundraising Monical’s Pizza day next Monday, February 26. Customers can fill out a fundraising form before they pay and 20% of their receipt will be donated to the local fight against cancer. For carry-out orders, simply mention the fundraiser when ordering. That’s coming up this coming Monday in Olney.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Richland County will have the final two days of its annual fundraising “Bowl For Kid’s Sake” this weekend at the Olney Bowling Center. Five member teams can still be added to the bowling list this Saturday and Sunday. Each bowler is asked to raise at least $30 and during the event, bowlers will get free shoe rental, free pizza and drinks, t-shirts, and lane prizes. All proceeds will benefit the critical Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program in Richland County. The Olney American Legion Post #30 will host a fundraising breakfast this Saturday (2/24/18) morning with serving from 7:00 to 11:00. Only $6 per plate with carry-outs available. All are invited out to enjoy a great menu of biscuits, gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and drinks while supporting our local Veterans.
The Noble Lions Club will have its annual Saturday (2/24/18) morning breakfast this weekend with serving from 7:00 to 11:30 at the Lions Club Building in Noble. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and drinks with tickets at the door, $6 for adults and $3 for children age 10 and under. All are invited out.
The Olney Central College Music Department will present its Winter Concert tomorrow (2/23/18) night at 7:30 in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center. The concert will include performances from the Olney Central College Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Jazz Ensemble. Admission is free and all ages are invited to check it out.
The Claremont Bonpas Fire District will host another Friday night all-you-can-eat Lenten meal this weekend at the Claremont Fire House, with serving from 4:30 to 7:00. The menu includes fish, plus three buffet tables full of food. Tickets at the door, children 5 and under free. All to help purchase emergency firefighting equipment.
It’s another Olney Knights of Columbus Friday night “fish fry” this weekend at the Olney City Park Community Building, with serving from 5:00 until 7:00. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds from this week’s Friday night “fish fry” will benefit the St. Joseph School in Olney. Everyone is welcome.
