(OLNEY/NEWTON) As another round of rain has moved off to our southeast, we’ll have a mostly dry sky today on this Friday, although there could be a few sprinkles at times here or there. The next real round of precipitation will move through tonight with an increased chance of shower and thunderstorm activity set for tomorrow through tomorrow night. The cold front could bring us some severe weather and for sure heavy amounts of rain, therefore area residents should be alert to possible flooding. We’ll then return to a dry and sunny sky Sunday through next Tuesday before our next round of rain comes in by midweek next week.
