(OLNEY/NEWTON) Our last round of showers will move out of Illinois by noon today with a mostly dry afternoon expected in our downstate area. The wind will pick up as it switches from the northwest and temperatures will drop back into the mid to upper 40’s by sunset. Then our sky will clear by daybreak with plenty of sunshine on tap for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with highs in the 50’s each day. We’re back to more rain chances Monday, followed by dry and a little cooler conditions by midweek, next week. Stay alert to those flooded areas and listen to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for updated forecasts and weather information.
