(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s a pretty quiet forecast for our downstate area today with an axis of high pressure drifting overhead and a steady stream of clouds moving through as well on this Friday. Our main concern weather-wise is the development of a warm front that’s expected to move just south of the Ohio River Valley by tonight, which will give us a slight chance of light rain and/or snow by daybreak tomorrow morning, maybe some sleet is possible as well. But the weather event is short-lived with a dry Saturday through Saturday night. However another weather disturbance moves in with mostly rain, possibly some snow, for Sunday morning. Then we’ll dry out for what appears to be a fairly quiet work week next week with average March temperatures and no real precipitation to speak of, at least at this time. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates and details.
