It’s the 10th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner this Saturday (3/17/18) night at the First Presbyterian Church, at 227 East Elm Street, in Olney, with serving from 5:00 to 7:00. All are invited to the delicious corned beef & cabbage dinner with all the trimmings, plus desserts and drinks, plus hot dogs will also be available. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and only $6 for children under 12. Everyone’s welcomed out.
It’s another Olney Knights of Columbus Friday night “Fish Fry” coming up this weekend at the Olney City Park Community Building, with serving from 5:00 until 7:00. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Richland County as committee members will be on hand for serving.
The Claremont Bonpas Fire District has an all-you-can-eat Lenten meal this coming Friday night at the Claremont Fire House with serving from 4:30 to 7:00. The fish fry includes three buffet tables full of food with tickets on sale at the door. All proceeds will help purchase needed emergency firefighting equipment.
The Richland County Senior Center’s Annual Fried Fish and Salad Bar fundraiser continues this Friday (3/16/18) in downtown Olney, with serving from 11:00 to 1:00. It’s all for a free-will donation at the door. While walk-in’s are welcome, call ahead orders are greatly appreciated. All proceeds go directly to help fund local programs and services made available to the Senior Citizens of Olney and Richland County.
It’s a special fundraising event coming up this evening at Pizza Fast on Whittle Avenue in Olney. For $15 per person with tickets sold at the door, get an all-you-can-eat buffet of pizza, spaghetti, salad bar, and drink from 5:00 to 7:00, then the performance of Johnathan Len of “Blend Acappella” fame beginning at 6:00. For the final day, the Olney Public Library is hosting its Usborne Books & More “Book Fair” today (3/13/18) from 10:00 to 7:00.
