(OLNEY) The 8th Annual April Fools Fest is coming up this Saturday morning at the West Richland Center, the former High School in Noble, from 8:00 to 12:00 noon. It’s the largest Ham Radio Flea Market and Convention in the immediate Southeastern Illinois area and everyone is welcome to attend. The admission is $4 per adult while all children ages 12 and under are admitted free. There will be door prizes given away each hour, plus the grand prize of a new Yaesu FTN100 DR Dual Band, Analog, and Digital Mobil radio will be given away at the end of the event, but you must be present to win. There will be plenty of indoor flea market and outdoor tailgating with all manner of communications, electronics, and computer equipment, plus food vendors will also be available. Amateur Radio Licensing tests will be given so those interested must bring their respective paperwork and other requirements needed.
