(OLNEY/NEWTON) A surface ridge dominates the weather map this morning for the Midwest as we’ll enjoy some downstate sunshine on this Thursday, that’s compared to rain and snow way to our north. An approaching cold front will bring us some colder air and more precipitation for tomorrow afternoon and Friday night. Then some sunshine and a cold sky expected Saturday before another chance of rain and/or snow Sunday through Sunday night. Then we’re dry and cool for at least the first half of next week. Stay tuned for weather updates and listen to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast information and possible alerts.
