(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a line of thunderstorms continues to press eastward in advance of a cold front, our sky will remain cloudy today with a chance of scattered rain and/or storms this morning, although we’ll likely have a dry period this afternoon before the second round of rain and storms moves through. There’s a limited risk of severe weather for our downstate region tomorrow as the actual cold front passes sometime early Friday afternoon, giving us a wind switch and an end to the rain chances by late tomorrow night. But another weather disturbance will bring us more rain chances by Sunday afternoon continuing through Sunday night. The first of next week appears to be dry.
