(OLNEY) A weak upper level low over Southern Missouri will be the main weather-maker for our downstate region today as it spins and continues to move into Illinois and northeastward towards Indiana. The wrap-around rain will mostly be light in nature today through tonight and stay pretty much south of a line along I-70, if not further south. Although a few showers could linger into Saturday morning, it appears to be a mostly dry weekend coming up, for both Saturday and Sunday now. The next system of interest will move into the Midwest with downstate rain chances for next Monday, followed by another warm period with a slight chance of rain each day next Tuesday through Thursday. Stay tuned for weather updates.
