(OLNEY) The Richland County Homemaker’s Education Association is ready to celebrate its 73rd Anniversary during HEA Week activities this week, May 21st through May 25th, in Olney. With 102 current members, the Richland County HEA invites everyone to join them as they celebrate this week with various activities. There will be presentations this afternoon at 1:00 and tonight at 7:00 on recognizing the strengths and uniqueness of Richland County, with both “Placemaking Keeps Towns Strong” presentations to be held at the Extension Office on Fair Street in Olney. There is no cost or reservation required for this workshop. A long-time RCHEA member will present a demonstration on “noodle making” this coming Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 at the Extension Office meeting room, with again, no reservation or cost required. The Richland County HEA’s annual meeting will be Thursday night, followed by a presentation on food preservation with canner dial gauge testing on Friday afternoon.
