(EFFINGHAM) The Illinois State Police report an injury traffic crash occurred in Effingham County at 7:59 this past Saturday night at an I-70 exit ramp in Altamont. 41 year old Dridra L. Riven of Toledo, Ohio was westbound on I-70 attempting to exit when she lost control of her SUV, leaving the roadway, striking the ditch embankment, and overturning. Riven and an unidentified 15 year old juvenile, also from Toledo, Ohio, was taken to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. The driver was ticketed for improper lane usage and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
(FAIRFIELD) The investigation continues into a single vehicle wreck down in White County that occurred at 7:27 yesterday (Sunday) morning. The State Police report 38 year old Cody Cropper of Barnhill was westbound on a county road when for unknown reasons his SUV ran off the road, through a ditch, and into a creek bed. Ejected from the vehicle on impact, Cropper was airlifted by helicopter from the accident scene to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. No tickets or citations have been issued at this point in time.
(NEWTON) The investigation is also continuing into a two vehicle crash that occurred yesterday (Sunday) morning in Jasper County, along Route 130, south of Newton. At this time, no other information or details are available from either the Illinois State Police and/or the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department in Newton.
