(OLNEY/NEWTON) A weak cold front currently along the Wisconsin/Illinois border will drop southward today, potentially triggering a few showers and/or thunderstorms later today and evening. Otherwise, it’s another hot and humid day on tap for our downstate region. After the front passes through our wind change will bring us a little less humid air for tonight and tomorrow morning, but we’re back a hot and humid weather pattern for Thursday through Sunday. Our next significant chance of rain, if the weather models hold as they are now, appears to be early next week as another cold front moves through with possible widespread rain. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates and other information.
