(OLNEY/NEWTON) The weak cold front that moved through our downstate area last night, did bring with it some spots of rain and a little cooler and less humid air in place for today. We’re back to a mostly clear sky today through tonight, with dry and hot conditions expected now through the upcoming weekend. We’ll see a gradual warm up each day now through Sunday and while a cold front moves into Northern Illinois on Friday, most all of the rain possibilities associated with it will stay well to our north. But that likely will change with rain chances for us Sunday afternoon and a better shot of rain coming around next Monday through Monday night. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates and information.
