(OLNEY/NEWTON) A southwesterly upper-level flow that’s developed across the Plains/Midwest will lead us to a period of warm and wet weather over the next few days. A weak short-wave weather system will bring us light rain this morning before ending by early afternoon. Then it’s dry the rest of this Wednesday through tonight. A low pressure will track across Illinois tomorrow, bringing more widespread showers to our region, all to be followed by a cold front tomorrow night. Early morning rain could be mixed with snow Friday before it ends and we dry out for the rest of the day. Then another system moves through with precipitation chances for Saturday. After a dry and mild Sunday, a warmer and wetter pattern will set up early next week with rain chances returning for next Monday and Tuesday. Listen to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for updates.
