(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the low pressure system that brought us rain and eventually some snow in the area last night now moves off to the east, we’ll see a dry and cool day on this Wednesday. After some sunshine tomorrow morning, a weak disturbance could give us light rain through Thursday evening before ending. Then a stronger system moves across downstate Illinois into the Ohio River Valley on Saturday, which means rain chances ahead of the short wave Friday through Friday night and again as the front moves through Saturday. With a dry Sunday, we’ll then return to dry and quiet weather conditions into the first of next week. Stay tuned for updates and be listening to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for continued information and updates.
