(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the first of three approaching cold fronts move through the Midwest by tonight, we’ll have another chance of scattered afternoon rain on this Saturday, plus a strong south/southwest wind will keep things stirred up today through tonight as temperatures will fall backwards with the wind switch from the north/northwest later tonight. After a dry and cool Easter Sunday morning, the second cold front moves in with afternoon rain chances, possibly mixed with some snow towards Sunday evening. Then after another short dry period Sunday night into Monday morning, another storm system will bring us rain by Monday afternoon and continuing through Tuesday, that’s when some widespread thunderstorm activity could develop. Once this system moves out, high pressure will bring us cooler, but generally dry weather conditions for the middle and end of next week.
