(OLNEY) The Richland County CEO Program, comprised of twelve (12) Richland County High School seniors, is getting ready for its CEO Tradeshow, which is coming up later this month, to be held April 25 at The Holiday in Olney. The program involves an innovative, non-traditional approach to learning that allows the students to discover the necessary skills to develop and operate a business, through the curriculum that’s focused on touring local businesses, listening to professional guest speakers, and more. So far to date, the Richland County CEO students have visited 35 local businesses and have welcomed 35 guest speakers, and currently the students are working on their individual business concepts with the opportunity for them to showcase their businesses to the community through the upcoming Tradeshow. Prior to that event, which will be open to the public on April 25, the CEO students will participate in a Shark Tank Day, set for April 11, through which the students’ business plans will be presented to a board of local people.
