(OLNEY/NEWTON) With an approaching high pressure ridge not quite in charge of our weather conditions, we’ll have some clouds today mixed up with sunshine, plus a few more high clouds expected overnight. Then a pronounced warming trend kicks in tomorrow with abundant sunshine on tap along with a stronger south / southwest wind as we’ll stay dry until the end of the work week. The weather models are showing a slow and strong system will move through the Midwest with what appears to be a wet and possibly stormy weekend ahead, mostly from Friday night to sometime on Monday. As the slow-moving frontal boundary stalls, there will be on-and-off again rain and storm chances pretty much all weekend long. Stay tuned for weather updates and especially be monitoring a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for any alerts and/or warnings.
