(OLNEY/NEWTON) A low pressure system to our north kept most all the precipitation, albeit rain and snow, to our north, however there were a few flurries falling early this morning. That weather system will give us some cloud cover this morning, but as it moves eastward, our sky will clear and eventually it will be plenty of sunshine later this afternoon. A Canadian high pressure will then settle into the Upper Midwest by Friday afternoon, giving us plenty of sunshine and a little warmer air in place for the weekend ahead. The next weather maker on Sunday may stay to the south of a line along Interstate 64 and if so, we’ll stay dry through the first half of next week. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast updates and details.
