(NEWTON) The investigation continues into a three vehicle traffic crash that occurred at around 8:50 this past Saturday night in Jasper County. The Illinois State Police report two drivers, 55 year old Michael J. Rohr of Newton and 31 year old Marjorie N. Mugrage of Stewardson were westbound on Illinois Route 33, just west of Newton near the intersection with County Highway 15, while a third vehicle driven by 18 year old Kyle J. Zumbahlen of Newton had pulled onto Route 33 from County Highway 15, also westbound. An eventual collision occurred involving all three vehicles. Michael Rohr was ticketed for improper lane usage and for improper passing. Marjorie Mugrage was ticketed for operating an uninsured vechicle. Kyle Zumbahlen was not ticketed. Mugrage and three juvenile passengers were taken to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment of injuries. Another passenger, 34 year old Robert B. Mugrage, of Stewardson, was not injured. The State Police were assisted by Jasper County emergency personnel.
