(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the weak cold front moved across our area late yesterday afternoon, there was some very isolated shower and thunderstorm activity, but very scattered, plus a little cooler air poured in from the north. That frontal boundary has now stalled out along the Ohio River Valley, therefore giving us more random chances of some spotty showers and/or thunderstorms today, then again tomorrow night through Friday, although chances of a good soaking rain is minimal. With quiet weather tomorrow and again on Saturday, another cold front move through Saturday night into Sunday with what appears now to be a good chance of some much-needed widespread rain. At this point in time, it appears slightly cooler and drier weather returns for early next week. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather information.
