The award-winning Olney-Noble Airport will host its Spring Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast this coming Sunday, with serving from 8:00 to 11:00. All sponsored by the Olney Area Pilots Association, all are invited to the Olney-Noble Airport for breakfast and more this coming Sunday morning.
The 4th Annual Classic Motor Show, to benefit the Willow Hill Fire Department, is set for this coming Saturday, at Edison Park, in Willow Hill. The $15 registration runs from 8:00 to 12 noon with eight classes available, plus thirteen special awards to be presented at around 2:30. Also plenty of food, music, a 50/50 drawing, and more. The Calvary Baptist Church will have a fundraising cookout this Saturday at the Olney Rural King Store with serving from 10:00 to 2:00. Includes pork burgers and bratwursts, plus a special $5 meal deal, which includes a sandwich, chips, drink, and dessert. Pony rides will also be available for the youngsters.
A fundraising pork burger and brats cookout is set for this Friday at the Olney IGA, with serving from 10:30 to 1:30, all to benefit the Fox River Apartments resident activity fund. Also chips and drinks.
The Pink Warrior Sisters of Richland County breast cancer survivors support group will meet tonight at Monical’s Pizza, beginning at 6:00, as they’ll share stories, information, and support. It’s for those newly diagnosed, in treatment, or a survivor to join them for some great food, conversation, humor, and support.
There’s one municipal meeting scheduled for tonight. The Noble Village Board will meet tonight at 7:00 at the Village Hall in Noble. As always, tonight’s meeting is open to the public.
