The annual Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Parade is coming up this Sunday and all are invited to take part. There is no pre-registration, simply show up with your parade entry at the Prince Company parking lot along Route 40 any time after 9:30 Sunday morning. The parade kicks off at 2:00 that afternoon. It’s all part of the KC Council 2874’s 75th Anniversary. It also includes music Friday night from 8:00 to 11:00, a Saturday evening Outdoor Mass at 4:00, then games, food, more music, and fireworks at dusk. All invited.
The Calhoun Community Club will host a fundraising breakfast this coming Saturday with serving from 7:00 to 11:00, or until gone, at the Calhoun Community Building. Also a Rummage Sale from 7:00 to 3:00. Breakfast tickets at the door, at $7 per adult and $4 per child 10 years old and under. All are invited out.

Two Old Time Camp Meetings with local Evangelist Trey Lewis are scheduled for this week at Lewis Farms, at 2215 Highway 45 South, in Clay County. That’s both tomorrow night and Friday at 7:00.
The American Legion Jasper Post #20 in Newton will have its monthly pork loin dinner this Thursday night with serving to start at 6:00. It includes a great menu, plus dessert. The public is welcome.
The annual visit of the Ainad Shriners Circus to the Olney City Park is tonight at 7:30. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children in advance & at the gate.
