(OLNEY/NEWTON) A deep surface low pressure system will move across our downstate region today, from out of Missouri this morning and into Indiana by tonight. Therefore the chance of rotating showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue today through tonight before ending, plus the surface low will take the recent high humidity levels with it as it moves eastward. Tomorrow will be a dry day with relatively light winds and then another warming trend as we move into the final week of June next week. However, the dry weather conditions will be short-lived with more rain chances tomorrow night through Sunday as an approaching short wave system will move through our downstate area. It appears we’ll return to more high heat and humidity by the end of next week. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for updates.
