(TEUTOPOLIS) The 44th Annual Day of Prayer for Life is this Wednesday at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Everyone’s welcome to come & pray for renewed respect for all human life and in reparation for our nation allowing 60 million preborn human lives to be ended by abortion since 1973. The Day of Prayer will begin with an 8:00 morning Mass followed by Eucharistic Exposition & Prayer by area churches and organizations throughout the day. Then it’s back to St. Francis for a Benediction at 7:00 that night, the closing Mass at 7:30, and a reception to follow. From 9:00 in the morning through 7:00 that night, various Catholic Churches will conduct one hour prayer times, including those in Montrose, Effingham, Robinson, Oblong, Casey, Marshall, Newton, Altamont, Neoga, St. Elmo, Sigel, Mattoon, Charleston, and Dieterich, plus the area Knights of Columbus Councils.
