(OLNEY) The Big Blue Book Bus is back this week in the new month of July. Later on this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 3:00 to 7:00 at TrustBank parking lot along East Main Street in downtown Olney. Then on Thursdays in July, from 3:30 to 4:30 at the Noble Village Park, and from 5:00 to 6:00 at the Dundas Ruritan Building. Sponsored by the Richland County Schools and the Rotary Club of Richland County, the mobile library is available to Richland County students Pre-K thru 8th Grade with no library card or identification needed. That’s the Big Blue Book Bus today and this Thursday in Richland County.
The Richland County Farmer’s Market will be set up the next two weeks in the north part of the Olney City Park due to next week’s Richland County Fair and this week’s set up work in preparation for the Fair. That’s today and this Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 just north of the old swimming pool in the City Park. The Farmer’s Market features farm fresh produce, baked items, and more to the public for purchase.
The American Legion Jasper Post #20 in Newton will have its regular monthly pork loin dinner this coming Thursday night, July 5th, with serving at 6:00. A great menu all open to the public.
The Cummins Municipal Band will have its final performance of the summer tomorrow evening in the Olney City Park, at the Band Shell, starting at 7:30. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy tomorrow night.
And don’t forget the Olney Fireworks Display tomorrow night in the Olney City Park at dusk, sponsored by the First National Bank in Olney and set off by the Richland County Farm & Fair Association.
