(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a weak cold front approaches our downstate area, we’ll have a small chance of some scattered, isolated showers this afternoon, continuing through early evening. Then we’ll dry up through the overnight hours with unseasonably cool air settling into the region for tomorrow and again on Saturday. Our next rain chance is with a weak shortwave that is expected to move through our downstate area late Saturday night into Sunday, with a chance of lingering rain wrapping around on both Monday and Tuesday of next week. We’ll dry out for the rest of the work week next week, plus we’ll still experience below normal temperatures. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates and details.
