(MONTROSE) The investigation is continuing into a single car crash that occurred along Interstate 70 in Montrose at around 1:21 earlier this morning (8/7/18). The Illinois State Police report 33 year old Caleb Eugene Imhoff from Goshen, Indiana, was eastbound on I-70 near the Montrose exit when his car left the roadway to the right, striking a post and coming to rest in the right ditch. A front seat passenger, 23 year old Cathryn Marie Imhoff, also from Goshen, Indiana, was transported to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham. The driver and another passenger, 21 year old Katelynn Jane Kuhn, from Cortez, Colorado, were not injured. The driver, Caleb Eugene Imhoff, was ticketed for improper lane usage.
(GREENUP) The investigation continues into another early morning traffic accident on this Tuesday. It occurred at around 3:12 this morning on Interstate 70 in Cumberland County, approximately 2 miles east of Greenup. The Illinois State Police report 43 year old Amy J. Brandt from Casey was westbound on I-70 when her pickup truck ran off the roadway to the right and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest on its top. Ticketed for improper lane usage, Brandt was transported to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
