(OLNEY/NEWTON) With some patchy dense fog lifting later this morning, our downstate region will return to a mostly sunny sky for this Thursday, although some clouds will pass overhead through this afternoon. An unexpected back door cold front will slip south through the Upper Midwest tonight and as it teams up with a stronger weather disturbance, the cold front will give us our next rain chances tomorrow afternoon before ending. Then it appears to be a mostly dry weekend coming up on Saturday and Sunday, even continuing into the first part of next week. Maybe more rain chances next Wednesday and Thursday. Stay tuned to WVLN-WSEI-WIKK-WOWA and a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates.
