(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a high pressure ridge continues to dominate our weather today, we’ll have another day with plenty of sunshine and maybe some afternoon clouds mixed in. However, a weather system developing out west will begin to slowly move out into the Plains by late tonight into tomorrow as a warm front will slowly lift northward by tomorrow night. While we’ll mostly stay dry Tuesday morning, the rain chances kick in by tomorrow afternoon with the best chance of precipitation for our downstate region set for Wednesday afternoon and evening. After lingering into Thursday, the rain chances will end and we’ll dry out for the weekend with normal temperatures expected for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and listen to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for severe weather information.
