The area can relive favorite memories from past productions at Olney Central College by attending this weekend’s “Curtain Call – A Musical Review of the OCC Theater.” That’s this Saturday night at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 on the Ruth Henry Stage in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center at OCC. All ages are invited to come and see Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Peter Pan, and many others. The $10 general admission tickets will be on sale each night at the door. Again, all are invited out this weekend to OCC.
The Little Prairie Christian Church, west of Albion, just off of Route 15, will host Christian comedian Brad Stine this Saturday night. The “God Experience” show will begin at 7:00 with the doors opening at 6:00 with $10 general admission tickets on sale now at the church office, at the Citizens National Bank in Albion, and at Colyer Coffee House. The Claremont Community Center will host its “summer chowder” with carry-outs only this coming Saturday. The serving runs from 4:00 until sold out. Remember that no glass containers will be filled.
The Fox River Assisted Living’s 1st Annual Pet Parade is coming up this Saturday morning with free admission. It’s registration at 8:30 and the parade at 9:30, rain or shine. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in each of five different categories. Plus juice and muffins for all taking part before the parade.
