(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a warm front lifts northward across Illinois today we’ll see our first round of rain with maybe a little bit of thunder mixed in this morning, but as it quickly clears out, we’ll return to a mostly dry rest of the day. That is until a following cold front moves through with more rain chances later this afternoon through tonight with a marginal risk of severe weather conditions. With some lingering showers tomorrow morning, we’ll have a few days with less humid and dry conditions for the rest of the work week. Our next shot of rain moves in late Friday night, continuing through Saturday although Sunday appears to be dry at this point. Monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather updates and/or any weather alerts.
