(OLNEY/NEWTON) As high pressure moves over the Midwest today, we’ll enjoy drier and less humid air with plenty of sunshine on tap for this Wednesday, plus the rather quiet weather will continue through tomorrow as well. However, as that high pressure moves off to the east, an approaching upper low pressure system will move into the Midwest with our next rain chance set for Friday. The weather question is on whether or not more rain develops Friday night as the system moves through our area or if the rain holds off until later Friday night, after midnight. While the rain ends Saturday morning with some sunshine possible later in the day, more heat and humidity returns with the weekend weather as well. Sunday’s weather looks pretty good as the heat returns for next week. Stay tuned to a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for updates.
