(OLNEY/NEWTON) There will be plenty of sunshine overhead today, thanks to a high pressure that hangs over the Midwest. However, as that ridge moves off to the east tonight, we’ll see increasing clouds as an upper level low pressure system moves in our direction giving us a fairly good chance of widespread rain during the day on Friday. The warm front will move into the Midwest by tomorrow night with more rain and thunderstorm chances late Friday night, after midnight. As temperatures increase with some morning rain on Saturday we’ll warm up with a dry afternoon sky and eventually some sunshine. Then dry and hot on Sunday and Monday as we enter the last week of August with what could be a mostly dry work week, next week. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more details.
