The Richland County and Lawrence County Extension Offices, along with the State DNR, are offering a Hunter Education Class the first three nights of next week from 6:00 to 9:30 each night. That’s next Monday (8/27/18), Tuesday (8/28/18), and Wednesday (8/29/18) at the Lawrence County Fairground Building along Route 50 between Sumner and Bridgeport. The area can relive favorite memories from past productions at Olney Central College by attending this weekend’s “Curtain Call – A Musical Review of the OCC Theater.” That’s tomorrow (8/25/18) night at 7:30 and Sunday (8/26/18) afternoon at 2:00 on the Ruth Henry Stage in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center at OCC. All ages are invited with the $10 general admission tickets on sale at the door.
The Little Prairie Christian Church, west of Albion, just off of Route 15, will host Christian comedian Brad Stine tomorrow (8/25/18) night. The Claremont Community Center will host its “summer chowder” with carry-outs only tomorrow (8/25/18) evening. The serving runs from 4:00 until sold out. Remember that no glass containers will be filled.
The Fox River Assisted Living’s 1st Annual Pet Parade is coming up tomorrow (8/25/18) morning with free admission. It’s registration at 8:30 and the parade at 9:30, rain or shine. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in each of five different categories. Plus juice and muffins for all taking part before the parade.
