(FLORA) The Clay Electric Cooperative held its 74th Annual Meeting of Members a week ago tonight in Flora. CEO Ed VanHoose provided updates on the Cooperative’s condition, noting that no rate increases are anticipated in 2019, noting capital credit retirements in total of $240,296 for the years 1964 and 1965, noting some revisions in the Cooperative’s bylaws, and noting no rate increases will be associated with the Cooperative’s new headquarters facility in Flora, which should be completed by the end of February 2019. Three Clay Electric Board of Directors were re-elected to serve another term, including Frank Csyzewski of Louisville, Greg Smith of Xenia, and Bob Pierson of Flora. The Clay Electric Cooperative serves over 3,238 electric meters on over 894 miles of line in parts of Clay, Marion, Fayette, Effingham, Jasper, Richland, and Wayne Counties.
