(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the cold front moved through yesterday, bringing us small amounts of rain here in our downstate area, the recent eight day run of high heat and humidity has ended with the arrival of much cooler air. Meanwhile, a weak wave of low pressure is following the cold front and that will keep the sun away from us on this Saturday, plus it could give us a few light rain showers here or there today. However, the sky will clear up tonight and we’ll have ample sunshine on Sunday, but the dry conditions will not last long with another cold front expected to bring us more rain chances tomorrow night through the first of next week. Tuesday will be next week’s warmest day as we’ll return to dry and cool conditions next Wednesday through Friday.
