(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a weak frontal boundary to our south and an approaching weather disturbance to the north, our downstate area will see another dry and mostly sunny day on this Columbus Day 2018, plus the abnormally high heat and humidity levels. However, a change is on its way. After another dry, hotter than normal, and sunny day tomorrow, we’ll see increasing clouds Tuesday night and a chance of showers and thunderstorms late tomorrow night, likely after midnight. The wet weather chances then continue through Wednesday with the rain ending late Wednesday night with near normal temperatures returning to the Midwest. The weather system will bring us much cooler air for the rest of the week and through the upcoming weekend. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather details.
