(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a deep upper level low moves across the Upper Midwest into the Great Lakes region today, its associated cold front will continue to pump that cooler air into our downstate area today through tonight. This follows downstate rainfall amounts from yesterday ranging from a quarter inch to around one full inch of rain in some spots. While we’ll stay dry through tonight and tomorrow morning, a series of upper level lows are expected to bring us on-and-off rain chances Friday through Monday. We’ll have rain chances now tomorrow through tomorrow night, again by Sunday morning, and yet again Sunday night into Monday. The forecast, at least for now, dries out for next Tuesday and Wednesday, although the cool weather appears to be here to stay for a while. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and details.
