(OLNEY) The public’s help in needed as a Richland County search is underway for World War I Veteran uniforms, documents, pictures, equipment, or anything else, all with the intention for use in an upcoming military display. (OLNEY) The Richland County Development Corporation, in partnership with the University of Illinois Extension, will host a Business Workshop in Olney next Tuesday night, October 16. Running from 6:00 to 8:00 at the RCDC office, at 315 West Main Street, there is no charge for the workshop, but reservations are required due to limited seating. The aging of business owners and leaders creates one of the most complex chapters in the life of a local business, therefore the workshop discussion will include the differences between Ownership Succession, Management Succession, Estate Planning, and much more. (OLNEY) Olney Central College will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Completion Night next Tuesday evening, October 16, from 4:30 to 6:30, in Room 205, in Wattleworth Hall. The OCC Financial Aid staff will be available to answer questions and assist students and parents in completing their 2019-2020 FAFSA applications. Those attending should bring their 2017 taxes, W2 forms, and bank statements. OCC officials encourage current students and those who will be entering college in Fall 2019 to file their FAFSA’s as soon as possible since some financial aid programs award funds on a first-come, first-served basis.
