(NEWTON) A dueling pianos fundraiser to benefit Lincoln’s Place playground in Newton is scheduled for this coming Friday, November 9, at the Newton Knights of Columbus Hall along South Van Buren Street. The social hour begins at 5:00 with the diner, provided by Ochs Street Meats, to be served starting at 6:00, followed by the Windy City Dueling Pianos performance at 7:00. The tickets are $500 per table for eight people or $50 per person and are available at several sites in Newton, the Jasper County State’s Attorney’s Office, at Marathon Gas, at PS Reality, or by contacting Lincoln’s Place via Facebook. Once constructed, Lincoln’s Place in Peterson Park will be a playground accessible to children of all disabilities.
