(OLNEY/NEWTON) A weak cold front off to our northwest this morning will give us some cloud cover today with a northerly wind, but it’s a strong wave system to our south that will lift into the Ohio River Valley, giving us rain chances later this afternoon, then eventually some light snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain before it all ends after midnight. That’s when another shot of colder air moves in as the front passes through. After a dry and sunny sky tomorrow, with our coldest overnight temperature of the fall early Wednesday morning, we’ll have more sunshine and a dry sky on “hump day” before the our next weather system moves in with a quick shot of rain mixed with light snow Thursday through Thursday night. Then dry with seasonable temperatures Friday through Sunday. Stay tuned for continued weather updates.
