(OLNEY/NEWTON) A large upper level trof will continue to influence our downstate weather today with a low pressure system settling in over the Upper Great Lakes region by sunset. That means for us, plenty of cloud cover on this Tuesday and some scattered flurries on a northwest wind. The clouds will decrease late tonight as a weak surface high pressure will give us some sunshine and some lighter winds tomorrow morning. Then more clouds move in Wednesday afternoon ahead of our next weather system, which is now out in the Upper Plains. We’ll likely have a dry and cloudy Thursday with rain chances that night and much the same on Friday, dry during the day with rain at night, plus a full day of rain expected on Saturday, along with much warmer air moving in. After a dry and mild Sunday, it looks like more rain and cooler air is back for the first of next week. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and more weather information.
