(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a strong storm system brewing off the California coast, our Midwestern weather will be mostly quiet today on this Wednesday as we’ll have increasing clouds with a dry sky through tonight. Although most of our downstate area will stay dry tomorrow, there is a slight chance of a spotty shower or two Thursday afternoon and overnight. A dry Friday will be followed by moisture falling in advance of that storm system rolling into the Midwest with showers and possibly thunderstorms Friday night and into the day on Saturday, along with warmer-than-normal air moving in as well. With a dry day on Sunday, we will cool down a bit for the first full week of December. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more detailed weather information.
