(SPRINGFIELD) State health officials are reminding folks that it’s never too late to get a flu shot. With the influenza season running now through April, flu outbreaks can occur at any time throughout the year. All the more reason for those of all ages to get a flu shot now. Contact the Richland County Health Office in Olney, the Jasper County Health Department in Newton, Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, an area healthcare clinic, and/or your local physician for more information about getting a flu shot now.
(OLNEY) The Richland County TB and Public Health Office and Carle Richland Memorial Hospital are joining together to bring the public a convenient, after-hours, flu clinic, next Thursday afternoon and evening, December 6, from 3:00 to 7:00, at the TB and Public Health Office, at 501 Whittle Avenue. The flu shots will be available at no cost under most insurance plans. The flu shot cost without insurance is $25 for adults or $10 for those under the age of 19. That’s a Family Flu Shot Clinic next Thursday in Olney.
