(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a low pressure system nearing the Southeastern Coastal States and a high pressure ridge approaching the Upper Midwest, our downstate area is set up in the middle with plenty of cloud cover resulting from the low, yet dry conditions resulting from the high. We eventually see some sunshine tomorrow with a clearing sky overnight. The latest weather model is now showing the before predicted rain moving in with an approaching storm system out in the Southwestern States may stay to our south in the Ohio River Valley, therefore giving us only a small chance of some rain on Friday afternoon. Then that high pressure over the Great Lakes will warm us up with a dry sky on Saturday and Sunday, although rain chances return to the forecast for Sunday night and next Monday, plus colder air returns by the end of next week. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and details.
