(MT. VERNON) Regional farmers are invited to the third annual N–P–K Seminar scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Mt. Vernon, sponsored by the Jefferson County Soil & Water Conservation District. Starting at 8:00 that morning, the event with run until 3:00, with lunch included in the $30 in advance registration or $40 payment at the door that day. The guest speakers include Jim Rasor on weather trends, John Pike on cover crops economics, Terry Wysickalla on soil health, Randy McElroy with Bayer on using no-till with cover crops, and Sean Nettleton with Becks Hybrids on cover applications of micronutrients.
